Rostov – In a home match at Olimp-2 Stadium on 6 November, Rostov found themselves behind early against visitors Arsenal Tula but scored four unanswered goals to earn a 4-1 victory.
Midfielder Nikita Burmistrov scored in the 8th minute on a goal assisted by Ilya Maksimov to give Arsenal a 1-0 lead.
But the home side were not rattled from falling behind early and found the equalizer in the 26tth minute when Aleksandr Yerokhin leveled the scores on a goal assisted by Sardar Azmoun.
Ten minutes later a long ball from Slovenian defender Miha Mevlja floated into the Arsenal penalty area and Sardar Azmoun leaped high to head the ball past keeper Michail Levashov to give Rostov a 2-1 lead.
The match remained 2-1 well into the second half and Dmitry Poloz made the match safe when he scored in the 86th minute.
Four minutes later goal scorer Poloz became provider when he assisted a goal scored by Aleksandr Yerokhin. The goal for Yerokhin was his second of the match as he put an exclamation point on the finish in a 4-1 win for Rostov.
Rostov sit seventh in the Russian Premier League table with twenty points and will face Azmoun’s former team Rubin Kazan away from home on 18 November.
