Abadan – Trying to steer clear of the relegation spots, the Boys from Abadan did exactly that as Sanat Naft defeated IPL giants Persepolis 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Ali Abdollahzadeh late in the first half. Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic was not happy with the result but his squad are still favorites to claim the 2016-17 IPL Title.
