Filipino club Ceres-Negros was defeated 2-0 by Singaporean club Home United in Bacolod.
Iranian-Filipino midfielder Omid Nazari hit the crossbar on a free kick, but it just wasn’t a good night for Ceres-Negros.
Fortunately, Ceres-Negros still qualified to the ASEAN Zonal Semifinals as the best second-placed team and will face Yangon United of Myanmar.
The first leg will be played on 9 May in Bacolod and the return leg will be played in Yangon on 16 May.
