Isfahan – Zob Ahan’s quest for a third consecutive Hazfi Cup title came to an end in a 3-2 extra time defeat against Tractor Sazi. The match seemed destined for a penalty shootout when Honduran forward Jerry Bengston scored from the penalty spot to level the scores at 2-2 late in the second half of extra time but a fantastic long range blast from Mohammad Nouri in stoppage time sent the Tractor supporters into raptures. Tractor Sazi will face Naft Tehran in the Hazfi Cup Final.
