Athens – Panionios was held to a 1-1 draw at home against PAS Giannina on 5 January in a Greek Super League match-up. Ansarifard scored his fifth goal of the season that was assisted by Iranian teammate Masoud Shojaei two minutes before the interval. Panionios had to settle for a draw after Themistoklis Tzimopoulos equalized for PAS Giannina in the 79th minute.
