Ufa – Russian Premier League side Terek Grozny picked up a victory on the road against FC Ufa on 20 August.
After a scoreless first half, Albanian striker Bekim Balaj gave Grozny the lead three minutes into the second half with his first goal as a member of the Chechen based squad.
Nigerian forward Kehindi Fatai scored in the 75th minute in his debut appearance for FC Ufa to even the score at 1-1.
The match looked as if it was destined to finish in a tie but Chechen striker Zaur Sadayev put Terek back in the lead in the 87th minute on a goal assisted by Iranian left back Milad Mohammadi.
The match was officially finished when Romanian attacking midfielder Gheorghe Grozav scored two minutes later to give Terek Grozny a 3-1 lead.
Terek Grozny currently have seven points and will entertain FC Rostov at Akhmat Arena on 28 August.
