Right before the hour mark, Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun scored his fourth goal of the season to extend Rostov’s lead to 2-0.
With fourteen minutes remaining, midfielder Aleksandr Yerokhin put on the finishing touches to give Rostov the 3-0 win.
Rostov remain in the top position of the Russian Premier League with fifty-one points and will face Mordovya on the road on 1 May.
CSKA Moscow kept pace with a 1-0 over rivals Dinamo Moscow and trail Rostov by one point. CSKA will face Ural on the road on 28 April.
