Heerenveen – The four game winning streak stopped for the Frisian club with a 1-1 tie against PSV Eindhoven on 1 October.

Kosovar footballer Arber Zeneli tapped in a free kick from teammate Luciano Slagveer in the 72nd minute to give Heerenveen a 1-0 lead.

Heerenveen were looking to win their fifth match in a row but three minutes after taking the lead a shot from PSV forward Gaston Pereiro deflected off Heerenveen defender Jerry St. Juste and was credited as an own goal to level the score at 1-1.

Iranian striker Reza Ghoochannejhad started up front as usual but was replaced by Henk Veerman in a tactical move in the 79th minute.

The draw for Heerenveen can’t be looked at as a bad result considering they were outshot nine to two by visitors PSV Eindhoven.

At the moment, Heerenveen have fifteen points after eight matches played and will FC Groningen away from home after the international break on 15 October.
