Zagreb – Iranian midfielder Ali Karimi made his debut appearance for Dinamo Zagreb in a 2-1 victory over Inter Zaprešić on 13 August.
Algerian forward El-Arabi Hillel Soudani put Dinamo in front in the 38th minute with his third goal of the season.
Chilean forward Junior Fernandes made the game safe for Dinamo when he scored in the 82nd minute.
Ivan Blazevic pulled one back for Inter Zapresic in the 90th minute to cut the lead to 2-1.
Ali Karimi was substituted on for Soudani in the 71st minute to mark his first appearance in the Croatian First Division. Karimi previously played for head coach Zlatko Kranjcar during their time with Sepahan Isfahan of the Iranian Pro League.
Dinamo Zagreb currently sit on top of the table in Croatia with thirteen points after five matches played.
Dinamo Zagreb will face RNK Split at home on 19 August.
