Ahvaz – Last season’s champs are not having the ideal season as Tractor Sazi were able to defeat Esteghlal Khuzestan courtesy of excellent goalkeeping by Mohammadreza Akhbari and a late goal from Mehdi Sharifi. Esteghlal Khuzestan made plenty of chances but were unable to get one past the impressive Akhbari.
