It took a while for Iranian midfielder Saman Ghoddos to finally sign with a new club, but it was great to see him score a goal in his debut appearance with Amiens of French Ligue 1.
A 4-1 victory for Amiens over Reims was definitely needed after losing the first two matches of the season against Lyon and Montpellier.
Next up for Ghoddos and Amiens is a road fixture against Saint-Etienne.
Saman Ghoddos is the first Iranian footballer to play in the top flight of French football and it will be fun to see the impact he will make this season.
