Karaj – Oxin Alborz secured a huge victory on 6 February with a 2-1 win over first place Malavan of Bandar Anzali. With the match tied 1-1 in stoppage time, midfielder Mohammad Hosseinpour gave Oxin Alborz the win when he curled a left-footed free kick over the wall and into the Malavan net in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Since hiring former TM center back Yahya Golmohammadi, Oxin Alborz are unbeaten in six consecutive matches with three victories and three draws in which they have only conceded one goal in the process. The Karaj based club currently are in the 8th position of the Azadegan League with thirty-five points and are five points out of an automatic promotion spot.
