The 2017-18 Iranian Pro League season has been very exciting with Pars Jonoubi Jam Bushehr on top of the table and now Padideh FC are second, ahead of Persepolis on goal difference.
Obviously it is really early in the season but Padideh of Mashhad have won four matches, drawn two, and only lost one.
Recently they defeated Tractor Sazi 2-1 away from home on 22 September.
When looking at Padideh’s roster, the two names that stick out most for me are Mohammad Ghazi and Mohammad Reza Khalatbari.
Both players have represented Team Melli in the past and I think they can really make some noise for the Mashhad-based club.
There are plenty of matches left to be played in the Iranian Pro League but so far it has been fun to watch.
