Thessaloniki – Newly signed Iranian forward Karim Ansarifard made his debut for Greek giants Olympiacos in a Greek Cup round of sixteen first leg match-up against Greek second division club Aris Thessaloniki on 25 January.
Trailing 1-0 for nearly the whole match on a goal from Luka Milunovic in the 13th minute, Karim Ansarifard scored the equalizer with nine minutes remaining when he headed home a cross from right back Diogo Figueiras.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw but the return leg will be played in Piraeus on 2 February to decide a place in the Greek Cup quarterfinals.
