AFC Champions League continued on 21 February as Persepolis were held to a 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal in Muscat, Oman. Midfielder Mohsen Mosalman gave Persepolis the lead in the 68th minute but Brazilian midfielder Carlos Eduardo equalized fourteen minutes later for Al-Hilal as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
At the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in UAE, Zob Ahan took a 1-0 lead against Al-Ain through Honduran forward Jerry Bengston right before the hour mark but center back Ismail Ahmed tied up the match with fourteen minutes remaining as both teams would share the spoils.
