Wolfsburg – Team Melli midfielder Ashkan Dejagah has signed a six-month deal with Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg in what will be his second spell with the German club. Dejagah scored eighteen goals in over one-hundred appearances for Wolfsburg between 2007 to 2012 but now it remains to be seen how many minutes he will see playing for a squad that contains big names such as German forward Mario Gomez, Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo, and Polish midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowksi.
Dejagah – born in Tehran but rasied in Berlin – will be looking to help Wolfsburg as they currently have nineteen points from eighteen matches played. Iranian football fans on the other hand surely must be excited to see Dejagah back in the top flight of German football after leaving Qatari club Al-Arabi.
